Selection of the best olives
The road to your tables is long and starts at the foot of a tree, where man and nature meet with no contamination around, where experienced hands select the best olives. Before any productive process steps in, right at the heart , there are always five main elements: soil, sun, water, olive trees and men.
What comes from this is something unique with excellent organoleptic properties and we called it Viridior, fruit of an unique variety, that comes from an unique olive grove.
Viridior is not just the name Dragotto Farm products go under, it represents a mind and cultural process of care, for the land and respect for the nature. Viridior, which means “greener” in Latin, is what incites us to do more and better, year after year. Viridior is “greener” for its intense green colour, more fragrant thanks to its strong fruity scent and tastier for its herbal, slightly lemony, flavour with a bit of tomato and artichoke aroma.
Depending on the harvesting season, fruity flavour can vary, from medium to intense.
Health benefits
There are many important reasons to use our extra-virgin olive oil – Viridior. If its taste wasn’t enough, there is one more reason even more important: it is rich in antioxidants, compounds that prevent cellular damage caused by molecules called free radicals, it helps to slow the aging process and in the prevention of several diseases.
Olive oil is well digested by our organism and its linoleic and linolenic acid ratio is similar to the one in the maternal milk.
